The following items ensure a successful, safe, and environmentally responsible wine press process. We are available to provide guidance and support as needed, so please feel free to reach out if you have any questions. We are here to help you achieve the best possible outcome. Your success is our priority, and we're here to assist you every step of the way.
To reduce strain on equipment and minimize the risk of accidents, please siphon the free-run juice or wine from the grape must and store at your winery before bringing your grapes for Press Service.
Your fermenting bins, pick bins, or totes should be suitable for a forklift with a rotator. They will be lifted and turned.
Make sure grapes or fermented wine are free of any matter other than grape must. Foreign objects may damage the Press Machine.
The Press Machine can accommodate up to 3 tons of whole-cluster grapes or 5 tons of fermented grapes at a time.
Each press load will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Timing may be influenced by factors such as your tonnage and the number of varietals being processed.
Please try to provide accurate information regarding your tonnage and varietals during the booking process. This will help us stay on schedule and ensure we can accommodate all customers each day.
We will ensure that the Press Machine, pump, and hoses are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between each Press Service customer.
Using our forklift, we will move your grapes or fermented wine into the Hopper/Press Machine for processing. After pressing, we will transfer the juice or wine from the press pan to your tote using our pump and hoses, and then load the tote and fermentors or bins back onto your truck.
Call, email or click 'Book Now' to view pricing and terms before scheduling your appointment. We will strive to optimize each press load to maximize efficiency. Pricing is based on tonnage. Additional charges may apply for partial loads, which may be necessary when processing different varietals or smaller quantities.
We offer a 10% volume discount for 5+ tons of any single varietal.
Additional charges for partial tonnage may apply.
